Parametric CAD & Automated Drawing Generator
A manufacturer of custom industrial enclosures required 3 to 5 hours of manual CAD drafting per client order to update dimensions, recalculate sheet metal cut lengths, and regenerate 2D assembly drawings.
- Must integrate with existing open-source and commercial CAD environment
- Zero error tolerance on punch hole coordinate offsets
- Engineers must be able to modify underlying design rules without re-compiling code
Concepo engineered a rule-based parametric CAD script connected to a lightweight input UI. Parameters entered by the engineering team automatically rebuild the 3D solid model, run collision checks, and output scaled 2D DXF production sheets.

Pre-Engineered Building Tapered Rafter FEA & Weight Optimization
An EPC contractor needed to validate and optimize a 36-meter clear span tapered PEB rafter and column framework subjected to extreme wind gusts (47 m/s) per regional building standards.
- Maintain structural deflection within L/240 serviceability limit
- Optimize web plate thickness and flange dimensions to minimize total steel tonnage
- Ensure web local buckling safety under combined bending and shear
Concepo built a parametric FEA beam model in OpenSees and Stabileo. By running automated thickness optimization iterations across 12 taper stations, web plate mass was reduced while maintaining stress levels comfortably within yield capacity.

Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT) CFD for Outdoor Power Electronics
An electronics integrator experienced thermal shutdown in an IP65 sealed outdoor power converter box during peak summer operation due to excessive internal heat accumulation.
- No active liquid cooling permitted due to field maintenance limits
- Maximum allowable PCB component junction temperature: 85°C at 50°C ambient
- Must retain sealed IP65 chassis integrity
Concepo conducted a full Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT) CFD simulation using OpenFOAM. Streamline and velocity vector analysis revealed internal air recirculation pockets. Concepo redesigned the internal aluminum heatsink fin orientation and added internal circulating air baffles.
